GET TO KNOW ME
Wedding photography brings together so many of the things I am most passionate about: gorgeous scenery, graphic and interior design, amazing food, light and shape, and most importantly, astounding displays of humanity and joy. I’m now in my tenth year as a photographer, and I’ve truly never loved my job more.
I’m often told that I’m a calming presence, but I like to think that I can meet you where you’re at and find the right approach to bring out the absolute best in you as individuals and as a couple. It’s most important to me that you feel you can trust me to know the moments where you need me to be a leader, but also when to take a step back and let things happen naturally (that’s where the magic is). I see myself as an artist but I also have some special skills that come in handy with my job—ask me about my family photos super power.
I live in a small coastal town on the border of Maine and New Hampshire but have had the pleasure of traveling all over the country and world with my work. I have two amazing kids at home, together with my husband we love to sing, paint, and explore. I’m currently reading through the 2026 Booker Prize Long List, watching every horror movie I can find (good and bad) and am deeply invested in whichever social strategy game is currently airing.
What Inspires Me
Big smiles, real tears!
I am completely addicted to joyful and emotional moments and can’t believe it’s my job to capture them.
Architecture, nature and amazing locations.
I’m obsessed with the way light moves across structure, peeks through the leaves and highlights a landscape.
The creativity that goes into weddings.
I became a wedding photographer because it is the one place where I can work with so many different kinds of creatives—designers, food artists, florists, makers of all kinds.
The greats.
I am heavily influenced by filmmakers and painters and often reference the movement, drama and lighting of my favorite movies or pieces of art.
Little pockets of light.
How lucky to find yourself in such a special spot for the brief moment it exists.
MY APPROACH
As your photographer, my hope is to provide the space, time and trust needed to fully enjoy and experience your wedding day.
I work with a primarily photojournalistic approach and offer full day coverage so that I can capture not only the major events of the day but the more intimate moments and finer details as well. When I shoot, no person, place or thing is unimportant, I want to be everywhere and experience it all with you.
My style is natural, romantic, and rich. My goal is to capture the day not only through my lens, but through yours as well—the colors you’ve chosen, the things that excite you, your energy together—everything that makes your wedding unique. My photos have an editorial feel without needing to spend too much time posing, although where direction is required I will be a guiding hand. I do my best work when you are fully present and just enjoying yourselves!
Now that we’ve gotten to know each other...
