I’d be happy discuss your specific needs over the phone any time, but generally speaking I find that the following guidelines apply to most small weddings: 2 hours for the most intimate elopements (ceremony, portraits), 4 hours for weddings with a small reception and potentially some getting ready photos, 6-7 hours for the full day including getting ready and dinner or dancing coverage. We can work together to find your ideal timeline!

I believe that the best way to capture a wedding requires different approaches for different parts of the day, or even different approaches for different couples and families. My intention is always to let real moments play out as naturally as possible—I know I absolutely do my best work when I am able to capture spontaneity. That being said, I do believe that some parts of the day require a bit of a guiding hand and I am happy to be that for you! I am excellent at keeping family photos fun and fast, helping you feel more comfortable when it’s just you and me together, and managing our time overall. When it comes to your couple portraits I have you interact with each other and keep moving so that things feel natural, and if we are so inspired we can throw in a few killer editorial portraits too.
I’d love to talk to you more about how you hope to work with your photographer! If you genuinely want a fully documentary approach I am happy to photograph you that way, or we can find the right balance for you together. My goal is to deliver photos that feel like the most beautiful, romantic, fun version of your day full of real, genuine moments.

My work is primarily digital, but I love to add a bit of 35mm film as a fun supplement to your gallery. I currently bring a Contax G1 and Nikon F100 to weddings but there may be some other surprises in the mix as well. I do not view film as an essential part of my work, but if you are particularly excited by it I do offer the option to bring a second photographer that focuses almost entirely on film! I love this for a “best of both worlds” approach.

The number of photos in your gallery will vary depending on the length of your day, number of people present, weather, locations, etc. but for most weddings you can expect to receive about 100 photos per hour of coverage. All of your images are delivered through a beautiful gallery system that will remain online indefinitely, with unlimited downoads available.
-
Editing is an incredibly important part of the process! I hand-edit each photo to make sure that your wedding reflects my style but also has its own unique look. I deliver a large sneak peek gallery within 1-2 weeks of the wedding, and the full gallery within 6-8 weeks.
-
Most travel fees are included with my pricing, but for any weddings that require an overnight stay or flight I would ask for an additional flat rate (custom based on averages in your area) to cover those costs. For most weddings within 2.5 hours of Kittery, Maine an overnight is not required unless we are finishing our time together very late.
-
Yes! Printing rights allow you to bring your photos to any printer of your choice, but you also have the option to order prints, frames, calendars, albums, cards, and a number of other beautiful products through your gallery shop.

In order to officially book I ask for a signed contract and 30% retainer. Reach out and I will put together your custom proposal!
In their Own Words
“The first moment I saw Lindsay’s work, I knew she was the one. From the beginning of our engagement photo shoot, she made us feel so comfortable. I truly didn’t think the pictures could get any better. But then came the wedding. Lindsay absolutely blew us away. She is professional, creative, and kind. She was there every step of the way throughout the entire wedding process from meeting up to discuss the vision, to follow up calls. During the wedding, she brought me a sense of calmness. I don’t think I could have done it without her! She truly made me feel like an absolute queen. And the pictures, they are truly perfect. She understood the vision completely. Months later, we are still in awe of Lindsay’s work. We will cherish these pictures for years to come, and we can’t wait to work with Lindsay and her team again in the future!”
